YOKOHAMA Denmark continues supporting and making Rally Champions

Recently Christian Jensen on Peugeot 207  - S2000, ably assisted by co-driver Freddy Pedersen managed to win the 4WD Class in the national Danish championship.  The “Teege-Dan-Rally”  took place in the Roskilde (original Viking area), around 40km from Copenhagen.  Jensen who had shined throughout the season, indeed came out victorious with his exciting and absolutely controlled driving skills, which make it a pleasure to watch and keeps fans and spectators alike flabbergasted and looking forward to his racing.

Jensen, a very talented driver is now considering participating at next year’s WRC in the Rallye Deutschland in August 2013.   During the prize giving ceremony, tribute was paid to Kenneth Saust, YOKOHAMA Distributor for Denmark, for his continuous passion and support for all motorsports and rally racing in Denmark.  Mr Saust explained it was always “humbling and satisfying” to witness the large number of rally drivers on YOKOHAMA and see so many of them turning into Champions.   Also present during the Rally weekend was representation from YOKOHAMA Europe.

Meanwhile the well known Danish Boisen Rally team who earlier this year decided to focus their efforts on the German ADAC Rallye Masters series also have cause for celebration.  Kim Boisen and Jesper Pedersen on a BMW M3, and also on Yokohama rally tyres, took the overall victory in the 2012 series. The car will be exhibited at the Essen Motorshow in Essen December 1st-9th at the ADAC booth.

In addition to these Championships, YOKOHAMA Denmark are also celebrating two more championships adding to their tally of success in the most spectacular classes in 2012:

4WD group N with Max Christensen/Ole Fredriksen in Subaru Impreza WRX STI.

2WD Modified National with Kenneth Madsen/Henrik Dernoff, Suzuki Swift 2000 Maxi.
