Happy Birthday, Mr. Hansen

Mr. Carl Christian Hansen, President of the Danish Motorsports organisation “DASU”, celebrated his 70th birthday yesterday.  

The celebration was marked with a large scale reception at the Sommer Automobile museum in Copenhagen and counted with the participation of hundreds of motorsport and industry celebrities in attendance.  The many well wishers included representatives of YOKOHAMA Denmark with Mr Kenneth Saust and Mr Allan Osbech who joined to congratulate “CC” who has been a leading figure in Danish motorsport for decades.

In addition to being President of “DASU” he is also a well reputed business lawyer.  A highlight of the day was a ride for him in a Jaguar D-type car with racing celebrity Thorkild Thyrring behind the steering wheel, and Mr Hansen dressed appropriately for the occasion in a Yokohama branded driving suit.
