YOKOHAMA’s Flagship Tyre Tops Test

The latest issue (Aug/Sept 2013) of the French magazine “Motorsport”(Le Magazine de L’Automobile Sportive) has published an article with the results of an extensive tyre test carried out comparing 10 leading international tyre manufacturers. The sporty tyres tested were;

In it Yokohama’s flagship tyre, the ADVAN Sport V105 which was launched in Europe earlier this year comes as the outright winner following tests at the international circuit of Magny Cours and which included braking (Freinage), lap time (Tour Chrono), wear (Usure) and subjective feeling (Subjectif) which considered precision, maximum grip and balance.

The tests were entrusted by the magazine to be conducted by Rezulteo, the independent International Tyre research company which provides a tyre buyers guide and comparison website to consumers in over 20 countries and which has extensive tyre testing and industry expertise.  The tyres for the test were bought in the open market in order to guarantee the independence from all the brands and to ensure the objectivity of the results by following a rigorous methodology as described by the French publication.
