YOKOHAMA at the Tuning World Bodensee

The Japanese Tyre manufacturer takes part in this popular International show for the 12^th time and will be displaying its range of high performance tyres from an impressive 357 m2 purposely designed area. Within this space YOKOHAMA will showcase its flagship high-performance tyre the ADVAN Sport V105 on a number of high-powered vehicles which come fitted with YOKOHAMA tyres as Original equipment.

Brabus will present YOKOHAMA in Friedrichshafen with an extravagant Mercedes Benz CLS Shooting Brake with the V105 in 255/30 R20 on the front and 295/25 R20 on the rear axle. Knight Cars will present the tire on a Jaguar R -400 GTR 255/35 ZR20 front and 285/30 ZR20 rear. To complete the trio the V105 will also be displayed with the Mercedes Benz A-Class from Piecha.

For SUV markets YOKOHAMA also supplies this sector with a variety of products and an example of this will also be presented with the ADVAN S/T tyre on a Mercedes GL of the renowned car tuning company Lorinser in 305/40 R22.

In addition to other interesting surprises YOKOHAMA will especially exhibit the integration of its different industries, technology and areas of specialisation with the AERO-Y, EV concept car.

This unique car displays “the tyres of the next generation”, with its “fin tyres” designed by YOKOHAMA to reduce the vehicle’s air drag by controlling the airflow in the wheel well. The EV also has an ultra-lightweight yet high-strength body created from material developed by YOKOHAMA for use in aircraft components. The car also boasts an adhesive technology that stems from the development of HAMATITE adhesives and enables the creation of composites from hard-to-bond dissimilar materials.
