YOKOHAMA Europe supports Regenbogenland

Representatives of Yokohama Europe GmbH took part in a heart warming social activity at the weekend. Also coinciding with the Japan day celebrations in Duesseldorf, employees at the Japanese Tyre manufacturer’s European headquarters attended the clean-up operation of the “Regenbogenland” (“Rainbow land”) grounds at the entrance to the Children’s Nursing Home in Duesseldorf.

For some time the environmental group of YOKOHAMA Europe have been supporting the local community where it lives and works and has traditionally been active in the annual clean-up at the botanic gardens and other environmental activities in the area.  More recently the group had been thinking of ways to extend its support to the local community and this time decided the best way to assist was to beautify the area around the grounds and green areas of the children’s nursing home bringing a nicer environment for the children to be in. 

Norbert Hüsson, Chairman of the charitable association who runs the home expressed he was very grateful to the members of YOKOHAMA Europe who supported this social engagement and showed such solidarity at the weekend.
