YOKOHAMA success at VLN Opener

The season opener of the 38th edition of the VLN “Langstreckenmeisterschaft” or Endurance racing took place over the weekend at the Nürburgring.

On Saturday a packed grid competed in the different classes for the prestigious championship which will this year see a total of 10 races.

With 27 cars on YOKOHAMA tyres and a duration per race of 4 hours, the YOKOHAMA clad Lexus IS-F of the Ring Racing Team won the SP8 Class and achieved a 32 place overall.

The first round of the VLN was marked by a spring-like weather, sunshine and perfect racing conditions.

The next VLN race will be held on the 12th April.
