Ginetta at Paul Ricard Circuit

There was big excitement for the third race of the Ginetta Cup Italia Trophy which was held last weekend at the Paul Ricard circuit. The Ginetta G50 equipped with YOKOHAMA tyres, hosted within the GT4 European Series, achieved excellent positions in both championship races.

The winner of the first race of the Ginetta G50 Cup was the team composed by two very young pilots, the Spanish Tineo  and the Finnish Anttila, attaining the first position in the overall classification. Another great result was that of the Bonacini-Lasagni duo with a second place between Ginettas and a third place in the overall classification, while the Argentine Bugliotti was third in his category and fourth overall.

In race 2, Bugliotti obtained the first place in the Ginetta Cup category, while Bonacini and Lasagni  repeated a second place and Tineo and Anttila came third.

Bugliotti’s results in the GT4 overall classification were remarkable too, since he was second  followed by Bonacini and Lasagni in third and Tineo and Anttila fourth.

Giuseppe Pezzaioli, YOKOHAMA Italia’s Motorsport Manager who was in attendance at the race afterwards, expressed his satisfaction with the performance of the YOKOHAMA tyres at the legendary Paul Ricard circuit: “Our tyres allowed the Ginetta G50 to run very fast while maintaining excellent performances for the whole competition”.

For the third year in a row the prestigious’, high perfomance Ginetta G50 cars are equipped exclusively with YOKOHAMA tyres in sizes: 230/650R18 ADVAN A005 slick, and ADVAN A006 rain.

The next Ginetta G50 Cup by YOKOHAMA will be held on 20th and 21st September 2014 at the Nürburgring racetrack in Germany.
