Travaglia wins Championship “Rally Terra Adriatico” on Yokohama

Renato Travaglia, the Italian Rally driver who has dominated the “Trofeo Rally Terra” (Italy) on Yokohama, kept his winning ways at the weekend. His overall win at Cingoli (Italy) on board of a Peugeot 207, Super 2000 ensured he is the Champion of the 2014 Rally Terra edition.

After having dominated previous races in the “TRT”, Travaglia won the race in Sardinia. With the Costa Smeralda Rally, he wanted to ensure a full Championship victory as soon as possible and he managed this with one race still to complete the gravel trophy calendar.

“It is a fantastic result from Renato Travaglia, who really has dominated this gravel Championship.  The Yokohama tyres have been key performing at the highest level and guaranteeing the reliability needed“ explained an ecstatic Giuseppe Pezzaioli, responsible for Yokohama Italy Motorsports. “It is a great achievement what Renato has achieved but we are also very happy for Gigi Ricci, who also managed to come in second place.”
