YOKOHAMA at International Red Cross Racing Festival
27 Oct 2014

As has been customary for a number of years, YOKOHAMA Denmark once again supported the International Red Cross Racing Festival held in Roskilde at the weekend.

YOKOHAMA provided the tyre service which contributed to enabling many of the spectacular cars running smoothly at the Charity fund raising event.  The profit for Red Cross was in the region of 1.8 million Dkr. (Euro 242k).

Some of the highlights of the weekend included the attendance and participation of Formula One driver Kevin Magnussen who drove in a McLaren road car. His father Jan Magnussen, also a former Formula One driver in the late 90s and currently a works driver for Corvette in the Le Mans series, was also present driving the latest generation Corvette at the show.

Meanwhile YOKOHAMA Denmark’s General Manager Kenneth Saust also spent some time looking after guests, partners and friends which included Thorkild Thyrring, the legendary Danish driver, and Thomas Raldorf in the YOKOHAMA service area. Thomas is a Danish native residing in Thailand for many years and has had a long racing career in Thailand with several saloon car championships behind him.  In Thailand he is officially supported by YOKOHAMA Motorsport.  At the racing Festival in Denmark he was racing a Mazda MX5 on YOKOHAMA Advan Neova tyres.
