Yokohama presents 10th Anniversary gift at Macau

In celebration of ten years of the FIA World Touring Car Championship at Macau, YOKOHAMA joined WTCC promoter Eurosport Events with a commemorative gift given to the local authorities. This took the form of an 18 inch YOKOHAMA racing tyre which had been specially treated, cut and engraved to include all past WTCC Champions.  The hard work which took months to complete resulted in a real piece of art and was expertly created by Mr. Susumu Watanabe who has been an integral part of the Motorsports Development Team at YOKOHAMA for many years.

The special YOKOHAMA Tyre was presented by Mr. Hikomitsu Noji, President and Representative Director of The Yokohama Rubber Company Ltd, and Mr. Francois Ribeiro, Director of Operations of Eurosport Events, to local dignitaries of Macau.  The exclusive piece which is framed will be permanently exhibited at the Macau Grand Prix Museum.
